A lot of people believed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Arsenal on a free transfer to Barcelona just because Arsenal published a post on Arsenal.com that Aubameyang left the club following a mutual agreement.

According to our findings, Aubameyand did not leave as a free agent, he was paid $7million to leave the club and another report claimed that Arsenal will pay part of Aubameyang’s salary while he is playing for Barcelona.

Another source mentioned today that Arsenal is still contributing to Aubameyang’s salary at Barcelona even after he’s signed a new contract and has officially transferred to Camp Nou.

Arsenal fans are very upset with this deal and they continue to blame Edu, Edu is in charge of Arsenal’s financial deals on the transfer side and he has failed woefully. Edu couldn’t sell players and he keep putting Arsenal on a contract that Arsenal will try to get out of.

It was clear that Aubameyang was getting old, Arsenal decided to give him a contract extension and now the club doesn’t want him anymore.

The breakup free to break Aubameyang’s contract means Arsenal will have to pay some money before they can let him go. Arsenal paid and now they can’t afford a replacement for him.
