Everton midfielder Dele Alli revealed he had suffered a new injury, but he is working hard to return to on-field action.
Alli made this known via Instagram, saying, “Setback with the injury, making sure I come stronger than ever.”
Also, he posted some pictures of himself working out in the gym. The first picture he showed on his Instagram page was a black-and-white picture of his back tattoo in the gym.
The second picture showed when the footballer was tying his shoes to get ready for action. While the last picture showed when he was getting himself ready to use the gym.
Dele Alli fans were quick to react to those pictures. One fan commented “Let him cook”. Another fan said “You got this Dele” The third follower said “The League is not ready for Dele”.
After joining Everton, he spent the majority of last season on loan with Bekistas. His short spell at Bekistas was cut short due to injuries, which subsequently made him absent for Everton this summer.
Earlier this year, Dele Alli spent most of his time in rehab facilities in United State of America after developing addiction for sleeping drugs.
He revealed in an interview about his fight against depression saying ” When I came back from Turkey I came back and found out I needed an operation.
“I was in a bad place mentally. I decided to go to a modern rehab facility that deals with addiction, mental health, and trauma. I felt it was time for me.
“You can’t be told to go there; you have to make the decision yourself.”

In the 2014–15 season, Dele Alli had an ankle injury and was out for 45 days, missing 12 matches.

In the 2017/18 season, Dele Alli suffered a hamstring injury and was out for 13 days, missing three matches.
In the 2018–19 season, the English star was out for 99 days, missing 26 matches. In the 2019–20 season, Dele Alli was out for 29 days, missing eight matches.
While he was at Tottenham Hotspur in 2020/21, he got injured and was out for 18 days, missing five matches.
He had one of the longest injuries of his career, as he is currently out for 197 days.
However, his return may be a huge boost for the Everton club, which needs someone with good experience in the midfield.
