David De Gea sees the year off with a costly error against Watford on Sunday. The outcome of the mistake led Manchester United to 2-0 defeat at Vicarage Road.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went into the Sunday draw with the last six Premier League runs unbeaten. But the goalkeeper’s arrogant mistake attracts their first league defeat since November 2nd, against Bournemouth.

Besides, prior to the weekend clash, the last five wins of Solakjaer’s men included Manchester City and Mourinho’s Tottenham.

After a hard first-half goalless draw, Ismaila Sarr had an opener for Watford in just ten minutes of the second half. The Spanish keeper initially caught the ball on the air but slipped off his hand into the net.

Before Troy Deeney converted a penalty four minutes after Sarr’s 50th-minute goal, drifting United further below the top-four rivals.

Apparently, through a footage, Sky sport could capture former United defender, Gary Neville’s reaction to costly error from De Gea.

Neville could not let his emotion slide through when he said ”Look at that! Oh my God.”

The incident occurred when the Spurs manager, Jose Mourinho was having a pre-match interview with Neville and Geoff Shreeves.

With witnessing the mishap of the Red Devils, Mourinho might be happy that his former club is in a deep mess. While the Portuguese prepared to host Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The United sets to host Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Thursday for another round of struggle. Newcastle sits 8 on the table, right below Man Utd, having the same 25 points. While United visits Turf Moor to play Burnley and properly round-off the year.
