David Beckham has shared an insight in a documentary, into how his relationship with Victoria started and the seemingly odd places they used to meet up.
They got engaged in January 1998 but got married 18 months later, in 1999, and they have lived happily since then.
The pair were massive stars then with Victoria’s Spice Girls achieving great heights in the musical world.
David Beckham was then a player of Manchester United and had remarkable success with the English giants, winning several trophies including; the English Premier League, and FA Cup.
In a bid to avoid the eye of the media, they had to devise a means of meeting up in a secret location.

Victoria Beckham revealed that car parks were a go-to location for the two lovers, and she made this known in a Netflix documentary, titled “BECKHAM”.
The 49-year-old shared that her manager constantly rang the need for her to keep the relationship on the wraps into her consciousness.
She said: “My manager kept saying ‘try to keep it under wraps’.
“So we would meet in car parks and that’s not as seedy as it sounds.”
The expository documentary encapsulated the media’s constant focus on their relationship and its on-field impact on David Beckham.
The Inter Miami co-owner claims that the relationship didn’t change his being, although Sir Alex Ferguson is of a contrary opinion.
David met Victoria at a charity football encounter, and the famous lady that was nicknamed “Posh Spice” revealed that she wrote her phone number on the back of a plane ticket of the former footballer.
The Englishman still has the plane ticket based on what was revealed, and after their relationship was revealed to the public, they became the biggest couple in England.
Many still call them Posh and Becks till today, and they have melted the hearts of many due to their heart-warming love life.
Beckham’s children
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have four children together, namely; Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Brooklyn Beckham is 24 years old, and he is an English media personality and former model.
Romeo Beckham followed in his father’s path, and he plays as a forward for the reserve team of Brentford. He is 21 years old.
Cruz Beckham is 18 years old, and he is apparently a young singer, while Harper Beckham is the only daughter of the pair, and she is 12 years old.
Reports indicate that just like her mother, she has a passion for fashionable clothes and makeup.
David Beckham relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson
Meanwhile, David Beckham also had his say on his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson in the four-part documentary.
Beckham detailed how he had a go at Fergie after the Scotsman infamously kicked a boot at him.
The incident occurred after Manchester United lost an FA Cup tie to Arsenal by 2-0 in 2003.
Beckham was seen exchanging words with an infuriated Fergie, and that resulted in the widely known incident.
David Beckham claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson kicked a pile of clothes at him, and a boot flew directed to his face.
The 48-year-old has in the past claimed that the media blew the incident out of proportion, but in the incoming documentary, he said that he attacked Sir Alex when the incident happened.
Excerpt from his book “Fergie: Under The Hairdryer” released in 2021 addressing the incident, David Beckham wrote:
“That was blown up out of all proportion. I’d made a couple of mistakes during the game and he came into the dressing room and a few harsh words were exchanged.”
The Real Madrid legend also wrote that the incident made people cook up stories about their relationship, but “as far as the boss and I were concerned it was over, done and dusted.”
The trailer for the documentary was released on Monday, September 18, 2023, with Netflix expected to release the full documentary on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
