    Taking to his social media handle, David Beckham shared images of himself with the biggest names in PSG.

    Sharing four slides of his shots with some members of the squad and the entire squad, he wrote, “Great to see some old friends,” tagging the social media handle of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Marco Veratti, and others.

    David Beckham’s return to the Parc Des Princes was welcomed by the club and members of the team who were buoyed and excited as they took shots with the football icon.

    Marquinhos, who is the captain of the team, shared a fire emoji and was also spotted with David Beckham in one of the shots taken during the visit.

    He held David Beckham’s old jersey number, 32, as he snapped with the former English footballer.

    PSG were also happy to welcome David Beckham back to the club. Reacting to his post, the club wrote, “Happy to have you back in Paris.”

    Notably, none of the 24 members of the PSG squad played with David Beckham during his time at the club except Marcos Veratti, who is the oldest player in the PSG squad.

    David Beckham wrapped up his legendary football career at PSG in 2012/13 football season.

    Nearing the twilight of his career as a professional footballer, the former Manchester United forward had a stint with the French giants, joining the club from MLS side LA Galaxy in 2013.

    Beckham earned his badge of honour as a top footballer while he was playing for Manchester United from 1992 to 2003. He made 265 appearances for the club, scoring 62 goals before he moved to Laliga where he played for Real Madrid in 2003. He made 116 appearances for Los Blancos, with 13 goals.

    After a five-year spell with the Laliga giants, David Beckham moved to the MLS were he played for LA Galaxy.

    His career began to slump at LA Galaxy at the tail end of his 8 years spell at the MLS side.

    He was loaned twice to Serie A side, AC Milan, before he broker a deal to join PSG in 2013 where he ended his career.

    Interestingly, Beckham signed a five-year contract that would have seen him remain in the French capital till 2018 but on 16 May 2013, he announced his planned retirement at the end of the 2012/13 season.

    He made only 10 appearances for PSG and donated all his earnings at the club to charity.

    David Beckham’s life outside football is not bereft of the stars that dotted his legendary football career.

    He is the owner of MLS side Inter Miami and a Co-owner at Salford City. He is one of the richest ex-footballers in the world with a net worth of $450million.

    The French giants gave Beckham a befitting farewell in his last game for the club before retirement. A specially designed boots, bearing the name of his wife, Victoria Beckham and four children were made for him to wear in the game.

    He was made the captain of the team in his last game, and was treated to a heroic ovation as he left the pitch in tears when he was subbed off in the 80th minute.
