West Ham forward Danny Ings arrived at the club’s training on the 6th of June, 2023 with a new look after undergoing a hair transplant in a London clinic.
Ing’s hair transplant is said to have cost an estimated amount of about £17,000 and the attacker was seen in pictures on the first day of preseason action.
He underwent the surgery at the Mayfair Hair Clinic located in London and the price of the hair surgery typically starts at £12,000 and could go past the £17,000 reportedly paid by Ings.
There is also a £1000 additional cost for extras such as “surgical IV vitamin infusion”.
In the caption of the post, a quote from Danny Ings reads: “A colleague recommended Mayfair Hair Clinic and they have exceeded my expectations – a level above the rest!”
The Englishman was seen in the picture, smiling and bandages were still stuck to the sides of his head while he shook hands with “Dr D” to his right.
Danny Ings becomes the latest high-profile player to undergo a transplant, with Arsenal’s Rob Holding the most recent popular player to get a “head makeover”.
This looks like a trend predominantly amongst British players with Wayne Rooney and Andros Townsend having undergone hair transplants in the past.
Arsenal’s Rob Holding experienced remarkable transformation with his hair transplant as he looked sharp and handsome.
Holding’s hair was receding severely and he had to undergo the transplant in order to sort out his hair troubles.

Other football names who have also undergone hair transplant include; Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Spanish Legend Cesc Fabregas, Senegal great Sadio Mane and many others.
Jurgen Klopp revealed that he had a hair transplant in 2012 while he was still the manager of Borussia Dortmund.
Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas reportedly underwent his hair transplant in April, 2021.
Senegal’s Sadio Mane apparently also underwent his hair transplant in March, 2021 while he was still a player of Liverpool.
Danny Ings will be hoping that this new look also translates to his form for West Ham United as he made 22 appearances for the club last term, scoring only three goals and providing 2 assists.
Anyway, he was part of the squad that achieved success on the European continent with West Ham United.
He helped the Hammers win the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, making 5 appearances in the competition, scoring 1 goal and providing no assist.
Ings joined West Ham United in January 2023 for a fee of £15m, penning a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
The 30-year-old, who appears to have an affinity for the claret color, having previously represented clubs like Aston Villa and Burnley earns £125,000 weekly at the London Stadium.
