Crystal Palace Vs Manchester United match is another top Premier League fixture to watch out for in the Premier League this weekend.

After a poor start to the season, Ten Hag’s men have recently had some sort of revival to good form of late. The English giants have scored ten goals in their last two games in all competition, keeping a clean sheet in both games.

The recent upturn in the fortunes would undoubtedly have greatly eased the pressure on boss Erik Ten Hag. The Dutch tactician had come under fire from fans and critics alike for United’s poor start to the season.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Preview

Manchester United kicked off their league campaign with a scrappy 1-0 win against Fulham. The narrow victory was followed with a 2-1 away loss to Brighton. After the Brentford loss, a 3-0 home loss to Liverpool compounded the misery on the United boss.

However, their outings since the recently concluded international break has eased the pressure on the Dutchman and would undoubtedly have filled the Old Trafford faithfuls with optimism. A 3-0 league win against Southampton was followed up by a 7-0 win against League one side Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.

If United’s start to the season had been disappointing, their host Crystal Palace side has been by far more underwhelming.

The Eagles are yet to win any of their opening four league games, drawing two and losing another two as pressure mounts on boss Oliver Glasner.

The London side started their season with a 2-1 away loss against fellow London side Brentford. They lost 2-0 at home loss against another London side West Ham in the second match. A promising 1-1 away draw against Chelsea was the result in their next outing, before following that up with a 2-2 home draw against Leicester City.

In contrast, the Eagles have been in sensational form outside the Premier League. They have scored six goals in their two games played in the Carabao cup. Oliver Glasner would be hoping his team can replicate that form against their upcoming opponent that seems to have found form again.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United head-to-head

Historically, this has always been a tie that favored Manchester United, with the Red devil’s winning 16 out of 26 meetings with the Eagles in all competitions. Four have ended in a draw.

However, in recent times the tide seems to be turning. Erik ten Hag’s United have lost their last two games against the Eagles, conceding five times over the two matches without a response.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United team news and injury updates

Crystal Palace would be without summer signing Trevor Chalobah, who they recruited from fellow London side Chelsea, due to a leg injury. The defender isn’t expected to feature for the Eagles until October.

For United, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund have provided a boost to Ten Hag’s side. Both players have resumed first team training and would be in contention to play against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

However, the Red devil’s are still sweating with the injury of defenders Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof, and Tyrell Malacia.
