Cristiano Ronaldo’s children have joined the numerous fans of the Portuguese football legend to celebrate their father who recently became the top scorer in the history of football.

On March 14, 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals for Juventus against Cagliari in a Serie A game which took his total career goals to 770. The three goals made him the top scorer in the history of the game, a record initially held by Brazilian football legend, Pele.

The Brazilian legend has since taken to Instagram to celebrate with Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese football icon has acknowledged how great an influence Pele has been to him.

In the light of the celebration, Cristiano Ronaldo’s lover Georgina Rodríguez took to her Instagram page to share a video showing the footballer’s children dancing to a music video.

Ronaldo’s children involved in the dance included his twin children – daughter Eva and son Mateo, born on 8 June 2017 in the United States via surrogacy; Georgina Rodríguez’s daughter who she has for Ronaldo, Alana Martina, born on 12 November 2017 was not left out of the dance party.

Ronaldo’s first child, Cristiano Jr., born on 17 June 2010, could be seen seated less concerned with the dance. He is developing his football skills to become like his 36-year-old father who has won 5 Ballon d’Or in his football career.

As for his lover, Georgina, she decided to caption the clip showing Ronaldo’s children dancing with: “Proud of dad ❤️ Top scorer in history ⚽️👑 We love you”.

The fact that Ronaldo is now the top scorer in the history of football coincided with the period his club, Juventus, was knocked out of the UEFA Champions League round of 16. Yet, that has not discouraged clubs from showing interest in him.

Amongst clubs looking at the possibility of acquiring his services, Real Madrid seemed to be the most serious club that want to have the 36-year-old forward on their side. Ronaldo spent about 9 years at Real Madrid before he joined Juventus in 2018.

Recently, Real Madrid’s coach Zinedine Zidane admitted that it is possible that Ronaldo could return to the club but didn’t confirm whether Real Madrid would try to bring him back this summer. The Portuguese icon still has until June 2022 before his contract with Juventus expires.
