Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Saudi Pro League September Player of the Month of February after his stellar performance for Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo have turned the nuggets after a seemingly underwhelming start to his football career in Saudi Arabia.
After his belated move to the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo struggled in his first few games for Al-Nassr.
Despite a brilliant start in the Ryadh All Star Vs PSG exhibition game, Cristiano blanked in his debut for Al-Nassr.
He was blamed by Al-Nassr manager Rudi Garcia for Al-Nassr’s semifinal exit from the Saudi Super Cup following a shock defeat to arch-rivals Al-Ittihad.
Ronaldo scored his first goal for Al-Nassr via a spotkick and was evidently struggling to reciprocate his multi-million dollar earnings with the Saudi giants.
However, it appears Cristiano Ronaldo has proved critics wrong after overturning his deflated start at Al-Nassr to emerge the winner of the Saudi Pro League September Player of the Month – his first major award in Saudi football.

Al-Nassr are currently leading the Saudi Pro League table with 43 points from 18 games, 2 points better than second-placed and title challengers, Al-Ittihad, who has 41 points.
Ronaldo led Al-Nassr’s brilliant run in September, helping the club secure three resounding wins to stay in the pole position on the Saudi Pro League title race.

Cristiano Ronaldo converted a stoppage-time penalty to salvage a point for Al-Nassr, as they settled for a dramatic 2-2 draw.
Al-Nassr frontline striker Talisca bagged a red card in the game and Ronaldo had took up the goal-scoring burden of the club since then, scoring for fun in Al-Nassr’s next three fixtures without Talisca.
After the Al Fateh draw, Al-Nassr took on Al-Wehda in their next clash in the month. Cristiano stunned Al-Wehda with a dramatic four-goal haul to hand Al-Nassr all three points in the game.
In the next game against Al-Taawoun, the 38-year-old recorded his first assist for Al-Nassr, helping the club bagged a deserved 2-1 home win over Al-Taawoun.
Cristiano Ronaldo followed up the Al-Tawoun victory with a record 62nd career hat-trick after he banged all three goals in Al-Nassr’s 3-0 win over Damac.
His three goals against Damac saw Ronaldo increased his goal tally for Al-Nassr to eight goals with two assists to become Al-Nassr and Saudi Pro League highest scorer in the month.
Ronaldo deserved the Saudi Pro League September Player of the month award and has made a big statement on his football career after the award.
After an inglorious second stint at Manchester United which ended badly and 2022 World Cup disaster, Cristiano Ronaldo has breathed life into his career with Al-Nassr.
The Real Madrid legend is expected to continue his brilliant run with Al-Nassr as they prepare to host Al-Batin in their next game in the Saudi Pro League.
