The football legend has constantly put out videos and notes to express his support for the global “stay at home” order which is being practised across the world to curb the raging COVID-19 pandemic.

In one of such attempts to encourage people to stay at home, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a video showing when he and his family were exercising in a gym in one of his mansions.

In the video, the football superstar could be seen lying on a mat exercising rigorously where his son, Cristiano Jr. could be seen attempting to do “press up” before he stood up to try something else. Other members of the family who included his wife and other women, could also be seen trying to keep fit like the football star.

    Many Fights of Cristiano Ronaldo

It is not a surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo is leading the fight against the dreaded virus. Besides being one of the finest footballers that have ever played the beautiful round leather game, he has been a fighter outside the pitch for himself and his family.

Recall that when the former Manchester United, Real Madrid superstar was 20 years old, he lost his father, José. His father died of an alcoholism-related liver condition at age 52 in September 2005. This forced the football legend to stay away from alcohol.

Cristiano Ronaldo almost suffered the same fate when his mother, Dolores, was down with cancer in 2007. After a rigorous fight and a huge amount of money were expended to seek the best medical care money can afford, her mother recovered from the deadly ailment.

The 35-year-old footballer who has now gotten over such a bitter experience is not taking any chances in ensuring that all the members of the family stay safe, stay indoors and stay fit as the world tries to contain the spread of COVID-19.
