Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are enjoying a family getaway in an unknown destination after a stressful 2021-2022 season in England.
The 37-year-old Real Madrid legend along with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their five children were all spotted in a family picture recently.
Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner was seen carrying their last child Bella Esmeralda in a private jet while flying out of the United Kingdom for a family getaway.
Indeed, no one in the world deserves a vacation like the Portuguese hitman after a difficult return to Manchester United. Recall that despite scoring double figures at Old Trafford last season, Ronaldo could not help the Red Devils qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
After the season, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner reunited with Portugal national team for the ongoing UEFA Nations League but had to leave the country’s camp earlier than expected to start enjoying his summer break.
Recently, Ronaldo took to his Instagram page to share a picture showing that he has reunited with his family and has started enjoying the break with them in style.
He captioned the picture with “Vacation with love,” as he posed at a dinner table alongside all members of his family except Bella Esmeralda.
Recall that aside from the difficult season he had with Manchester United last season, Ronaldo lost one of his children during delivery. Despite this, the 37-year-old finished the season as Manchester United’s top scorer and was awarded the club’s Player of the Year.
Cristiano Ronaldo at United: A Return Of A Legend
In August 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to come back to the English Premier League after leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid in 2009. Ronaldo went to Real Madrid as a fast-rising football star and left as a Madrid legend in 2018. He then moved to Italian Serie A and joined Juventus ahead of the 2018-2019 season.
The Portuguese main man spent two years at Juventus before he made a historic return to Manchester United. Manchester United had to fight Manchester City before landing their hero. However, life hasn’t been easy for the 5 times World’s best player so far at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo’s return was seen as one which will land Manchester United a trophy but it turned out to be the opposite. The English Premier League giants ended the season in the sixth position.
However, the prolific Portuguese goal scorer ended the season with 18 goals most of which came as a match-winner for the club.
