Cristiano Ronaldo Says Portugal National Team Deserves to Win The Euro 2024

Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo said the current Portuguese national team players deserve to win the Euro 2024 Cup on July 14, 2024.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner revealed this in his latest interview with ESPN, saying, “I believe that this generation deserves to win a competition of this magnitude. Semifinals? I hope we can go further.”

“We have to go step by step, live in the moment, be calm, work as well as we have until now, and believe that it is possible. We know it’s a short competition, but the team is ready. I enjoy football; records are a consequence, not a goal; they appear naturally.”

It’s my sixth European Championship; it’s about enjoying it in the best possible way, playing well, and making sure the team can win.”

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, Ruben Dias, and Bernardo Silva are among the prolific players that will be playing for the Portugal national team in the Euro 2024 tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo will compete in his sixth European Championship in Germany. Players like Pepe and Rui Patricio, who were part of the team that defeated France in the final of the Euro 2016, will also be participating in the Euro 2024.
