Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, the first son of 36-year-old Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed that the Premier League side is sh**.

Recently, a video hit the internet showing a fan identified as Asher and Cristiano Ronaldo Jr having a chat. In the short clip, the footballer’s son wore Manchester United’s official tracksuit looking very excited.

On the other hand, Asher who was acting as an interviewer in the clip could be heard asking Cristiano Jr whether he was having a good time. Ronaldo’s son replied “yeah”.

The young boy probed further by asking “United are sh** aren’t they?” Cristiano Jr replied by saying “yeah” which could mean that the youngster does not really rate Manchester United as much as expected.

The video was posted on TikTok and shared on various social media platforms including Twitter. Within a short while, the clip has made it to almost everyone’s timeline.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was involved in the chat with Asher less than a week after Manchester United unveiled him as the club’s academy player.

The chat also went viral less than a day after his father helped Manchester United to beat Brighton 2-0 in a Premier League game.

Based on the scene of the video, it was not clear whether the youngster understood the content of the question or whether he intentionally gave the response.

If he intentionally gave the response, the youngster might have based his answer on the fact that Manchester United have been very inconsistent in recent times.

For instance, so far in February, Manchester United have recorded two draws in the Premier league that pushed them from the 4th spot to the 5th spot before they beat Brighton 2-0 to temporarily return to the 4th spot with 43 points in 25 games.

Manchester United have had it so bad this season that they are not in contention to win any major domestic title which means that they are left to fight for a top-four finish in the league.

They don’t have any possibility of winning the Premier League title this season. Manchester City are currently topping the table with 63 points in 25 games, followed by Liverpool with 54 points in 24 games.

The only opportunity Manchester United have of winning a major title this season is in the Champions League. United are currently in the round of 16 stage.

They are scheduled to take on Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the round on Wednesday, February 23 in Madrid, Spain. Afterward, Atletico Madrid will visit Old Trafford for the return leg on March 15.

Just as Cristiano Jr sounded irritated by the current status of Manchester United, especially in the Premier League, his father is reportedly not happy about how things are at the club.

There are reports that Ronaldo senior might not wait until the end of his contract on June 30, 2023, before he leaves United. Speculations have it that the 36-year-old Portuguese star might exit the club ahead of the 2022-2023 season.
