After his contract at Manchester United was torn into pieces, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly considering a move to Saudi Arabian league.

The former Premier League forward lost £16million in wages after Manchester United terminated his contract following his bombshell interview.

However, a new tempting offer by a Saudi giant Al Nassr is said to dwarf the £16m wage he would have earned in the remaining months of his contract at Old Trafford.

Al Nassr have offered Cristiano Ronaldo a whopping £344m for a two-and-a-half-year deal, according to sources from Spain.

The five times Ballon d’Or winner had told Morgan that he had rejected an offer of more than £300m from Saudi Arabia in the summer.

This contradicted media reports which angered the Portuguese star that no club has asked for his services, leaving him with no option at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo had opted for an exit from Manchester United after the club failed to qualify for Champions League.

The 37-year-old and his agent Jorge Mendes were looking for clubs in Europe so that Ronaldo could play in the Champions League again, but no European club was making an offer for Ronaldo.

Now, Ronaldo is facing a dilemma. A mega deal is before him. He must now decide whether to take a pay-cut on the £500,000 a week he was earning at United in the hope of staying in Europe, or accept the rich offer from Al Nassr.

Meanwhile, the new offer by Al Nassr is coming after bitter Saudi rivals Al Hilal had previously indicated an interest in signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

After Ronaldo called for his Manchester United exit, Al Hilal were the first Asian suitor at the door of the former Juventus and Real Madrid star.

The club reportedly offered Cristiano Ronaldo a two-year contract worth £2million-a-week.

They insisted Ronaldo was happy with the move in ‘principle,’ despite reports that he is more eager for Champions League football than mega deals that would drive him off the shores of Europe.

Al Hilal insisted on having negotiated with Cristiano Ronaldo, but were sketchy when grilled on the status of the negotiation.

Meanwhile, the club was slapped with a transfer ban in May after their midfielder Mohamed Kanno changed his mind on a move to Al-Nassr at the last minute, with a contract already signed with both clubs.

However, they are among the top clubs in Asia that has pulled top players that have played in Europe. They have signed the likes of West Bromwich midfielder Matheus Pereira, former Atletico Madrid attacker Luciano Vietto, Malian striker Moussa Marega and Nigerian forward Odion Ighalo – once of Man United. They were hopeful of having Ronaldo join the list.

Now, according to reports, Al Hilal will enter a bidding race with Al Nassr – their bitter rivals to sign the highly-rated Portugal international.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is currently focused on the World Cup with Portugal, but there are reports he may considering a move to Saudi Arabia if his hope of playing in Europe is not feasible.
