Cristiano Ronaldo has thrown open the possibility of joining Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG in a new biography.

Since new manager Erik Ten Hag took over at Manchester United in the summer, there have been rumours that the Portuguese superstar is leaving the club.

Despite being the club’s leading scorer the previous season, Ronaldo’s playing time has drastically decreased this year as Ten Hag attempts to implement his brand of football at Old Trafford.

Despite huge money from Saudi Arabia, the 37-year-old is rumoured to go out but only for a Champions League team.

Ronaldo intended to join a Champions League team this summer, but a lucrative deal never materialized. Ronaldo wanted to leave United last summer. He and Erik ten Hag notoriously disagreed a few weeks ago, and the coach punished him.

The club stated that they didn’t want the 37-year-old to leave during the summer negotiations involving Ronaldo, his agent Jorge Mendes, and the club.

Ronaldo was reportedly a target for Chelsea during the summer, but the club decided to boost its frontline by signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling instead.

However, if he gets his way, Ronaldo might team up with longtime rival Lionel Messi at the Parc des Princes because he stated in a biography that he could see himself playing there.

Due to his tense relationship with Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo is anticipated to quit the club when his contract expires next summer.

Le’Equipe reported that Ronaldo stated: “The door is open. The club could only fill the stadium with the Portuguese from the Paris region.”

But in addition to Messi, the French juggernauts also have Kylian Mbappe and Neymar as attacking alternatives right now.

Given how well all three of them have been scoring goals this season, it is difficult to see how Ronaldo could unseat any of them given his current form.

Messi has 11 goals this season, Mbappe has 18, Neymar has 13, and Ronaldo has three goals.

Erik ten Hag made it known that he wants Victor Osimhen to take over for the troubled Ronaldo.

With nine goals in just 13 Serie A games thus far, Osimhen is currently on a roll for Napoli.

However, Messi and Ronaldo’s contracts are up in the summer, and it’s uncertain whether the Argentine will stay in France past that time.

In addition to Newell’s Old Boys, Messi’s previous club Barcelona, and MLS team Inter Miami have also been mentioned as potential landing spots for the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

    What’s next for Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar will now focus on the FIFA World Cup in Qatar which will get started on the 20th of November 2022, as the Five times Balon D’or winner will be looking forward to leading his nation to victory.
