“[ReeceJames and Mason Mount] are world-class players but it makes more special they have come through the academy. I grew up with them and I feel like I’m able to do that. It makes it even more special that me and my family have always been Chelsea fans, and it will be a dream come true to play regularly for Chelsea and perform on the pitch.”
The Blues supporters will be pleased to hear this, while interested clubs will be let down. One club reportedly interested in the midfielder is Aston Villa, but the Crystal Palace player of the year wants to battle for his spot in the squad rather than move on.
