Cole Palmer alongside some of his Chelsea teammates have sent their farewell messages to Mauricio Pochettino, who was dismissed by the Blues on Tuesday, May 21, 2022.
The news of Pochettino’s dismissal came as a shock to many, as they were wondering the rationale behind letting the Argentine go.
Chelsea were wishy-washy for most parts of the 2023/24 season, however, they picked up form in the dying embers of the campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino At Chelsea
Mauricio Pochettino brought some stability to the Blues, and he guided them to the final of the Carabao Cup, albeit losing 1-0 after extra time to Liverpool.
Some Chelsea fans were keen on seeing continuity at the club, as Mauricio Pochettino was the 3rd permanent manager appointed by Todd Boehly since acquiring the Blues in 2022.
Five managers have also taken charge of the team thus far including Pochettino, and that has led to instability with the club.
There were also Chelsea supporters who vehemently kicked against Mauricio Pochettino and were delighted by his exit.
The former Paris Saint Germain boss got the Blues their highest finish in the past 2 seasons, as they ended the 2023/24 season in 6th position with 63 points from 38 matches.
Anyway, some Chelsea players looked dampened by the departure of Pochettino, and they have taken to social media to send farewell to their former gaffer.
