    Immobile for Italy

    He was added to Italy’s team for the UEFA Euro 2020 in June 2021 by manager Roberto Mancini.

    He contributed to Italy’s final goal in their 3-0 victory over Turkey in their tournament opener on June 11 by scoring Italy’s second goal and setting up Insigne for the other.

    On June 16, he scored Italy’s third goal in a 3-0 victory over Switzerland in the group stage encounter that followed. He helped Federico Chiesa score the game’s first goal in the second half of Italy’s semi-final match against Spain on July 6 before being replaced by Domenico Berardi.
