USMNT ace Christian Pulisic has been in scintillating form since he moved from Premier League side Chelsea to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Since he joined the Italian side, Pulisic has featured in 8 matches in the Serie A and has 8 goals and 1 assist for the club in their local league.
In the Champions League as well, the USMNT ace has played two Champions League matches and unlike in Italy, he has failed to replicate success in the European competition.
Pulisic joined Milan in June in a $21.8 million transfer from Chelsea and he kicked off his Serie A campaign with two goals in August 2023.
With his performance for the club, Christian Pulisic was named AC Milan’s Player of the Month for August – a massive feat for the newcomer.
USA assistant coach Gio Vio even hailed AC Milan Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah, as they set to face Juventus on Sunday, 22nd October, 2023.
Vio, who is a set-piece specialist, worked with Tottenham last season before he joined the United State Men National Team.
Speaking in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport, Vio said: “Pulisic scored an extraordinary goal against Germany, it reminded me of Del Piero.”
“He scored against Ghana too. They are players with excellent quality, so I am not surprised they play for Juventus or Milan.”
“Christain Pulisic joined Milan from Chelsea, he was already on a high level. Milan have signed a great athlete even if he’s still young. It didn’t go well at Chelsea, but it was a general situation involving more players.”
“Musah has great personality and is smart. You can tell he is a leader. He has settled in well and is a nice person”.

Where Does Christian Pulisic Play?
The USMNT ace is a right winger or attacking midfielder and reports stated that the then Dortmunch boss Thomas Tuchel “saw the potential – the speed, sharpness, strength, sublime fitness and mature decision-making that belied his age”.
Tuchel claimed that Pulisic is “the kind of guy who’s very self-confident, shows his talent on the pitch, and doesn’t show any nerves under pressure – which is a wonderful combination”.
Pulisic’s former Dortmund teammate Nuri Şahin said that “he’s fearless […] He has so much speed, but what I like most is his first touch. When he gets the ball, his first touch opens up a huge space for him even if there’s no space.”
Christian Pulisic has always been deployed on the wing during his time at Dortmund and that continued when he joined Chelsea and also AC Milan.
Because of his style of play, Christian Pulisicis was often subjected to fouls by opponents just like the then Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
