Recall that when most clubs, including Christian Eriksen’s former club, Inter Milan were not ready to give him a chance to continue with his football career after surviving a death scare in June 2021, Brentford took the bold step by offering him a 6-month deal on January 31, 2022.
To the surprise of many, Christian Eriksen took the Premier League by storm as he provided four assists and scored a goal in just 11 games for Brentford. His performance encouraged Denmark national team to recall him to the team ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
