Arsenal teenager Chido Obi-Martin caught the attention of spectators after scoring 10 goals in a match against Liverpool on November 18, 2023.

Arsenal showed superiority in a 14-3 win over its rival Liverpool in the U-16 Premier League.

After the match, Chido Obi-Martin posted on Instagram a picture of himself and the match ball in his hand, winning the man of the match.

Chido Obi-Martin, who is currently 15 years old, was dropped to play for the U-16 due to the fact that there was no match for the U-18, 19, and 21.

The youngster signed a scholarship deal with Arsenal and had already trained with the Mikel Arteta team.

The Danish striker saw his fellow academy player, Ethan Nwaneri, make his debut at the age of 15 against Brentford on September 15, 2022.

He came in as a substitute, and Arsenal won the match 3-0 away from home.

Ethan Nwaneri was the youngest Premier League player to have ever broken the record at the age of 15 years, five months, and 28 days.

However, he is unlikely to break the Nwaneri record as he will be turning 16 before the end of this year.

Obi-Martin is following in the footsteps of Nwaneri in his bid to break into the Arsenal first team for the first time in his career.

If he continues to perform at the highest level, his senior team appearance will not be far away.

Obi-Martin is eligible to play for the England and Denmark national teams, having played for both teams at the youth level.
