Chelsea have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on loan with an obligation to buy for a transfer fee worth €25 million.
The 24-year-old midfielder is the latest addition to the Chelsea squad and he is expected to contribute immensely to the success of the team.
Sancho has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, even though he had settled things with Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag, following a huge dispute between the two individuals after the manager publicly criticized the player.
He joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 for a transfer fee worth £73 million. Sancho made 83 appearances, scoring 12 goals in all competitions for the club.
Both Erik Ten Hag and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer failed to bring the best out of the attacker, who was a well-recognized football player during his first spell at Borussia Dortmund.
The winger spent last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played in the 2023-24 Champions League finals against Real Madrid.
He failed to join Borussia Dortmund last season on a permanent basis after the club failed to pay Manchester United’s asking price.
