Chelsea have reached an agreement with Inter Milan for the transfer of 19-year-old midfielder Cesare Casadei to Stamford Bridge. Cesare is expected to complete his transfer with the Blues this week after completing medicals.

Azpilicueta was also linked with a move to Barcelona but later extended his contract with the club.

The American investor began making headway with the signing of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea. Kalidou Coulibaly joined from Napoli, followed by Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa, and then Gabriel Slonina from Chicago. The Blues are expecting their new addition to the squad from Inter Milan – Cesare Casadei.

Chelsea have reportedly reach agreement with Inter Milan for Cesare Casadei and have also agreed personal terms with the 19-year-old youngster. Casadei has agreed on a 6-year-contract with the club which will keep him at Stamford till 2028.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is signing Cesare in a deal worth €20m consisting of €15m upfront payments with €5m add-ons. Casadei may not likely join the Blue’s first team due to the Post-Brexit restriction.

He is expected in London today, August 17, to carry out his medicals with Chelsea which is the last stage of the transfer process.

Cesare Casadei is a prolific Italian striker who has represented Italy at U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-19 levels. He is known for his resourcefulness in front of goals.

Throughout his spell with the Italian youth team, Cesare has scored 11 goals in his 21 appearances. Cesare is yet to make his debut for Italy’s senior men’s national team. He started his club career at Cervia and Cesena before joining Inter Milan in 2018.

Todd Boehly is making progress with his Chelsea transfer plans. Five new players have been added to the squad, with team captain Azpilicueta renewing his contract.
