Premier League club, Chelsea, is now free of the two-window transfer ban and can sign new players. The London club which has been under a ban to sign players is now available. 

FIFA lifts the two transfer window ban restricting the Blues from signing players. So, Chelsea is available to sign players in the January transfer window. 

But, FIFA found Chelsea guilty of breaching article 19 of its rules on the status and transfer of players. This rule is to protect minors which means children under the age of 18.

Following FIFA canceling the February appeal to lift the ban. The London club then, took the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to appeal again. 

CAS reduces the ban to half after reviewing evidence from the Premier League club and world football’s governing body.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, who has been planning to strengthen his team is now open to accept new players.

The England football manager indicates to enhance his squad with Ben Chilwell, Wilfried Zaha. As well as Jadon Sancho among the names linked with the Blues.
