Chelsea interim manager Bruno Saltor has shown he is a different manager from Graham Potter after Chelsea played a 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on April 4, 2023.

The manager did away with Potter’s 3-4-3 formation and implemented the 3-5-2 formation, which looked tactically impressive.

Saltor was seen to be vocal on the touchline and was cruel in terms of his players selection.

The match was Saltor’s first game in charge after Potter was sacked by America owner Todd Boehly on April 2, 2023.

However, there are doubt on whether he will continue with the team against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Chelsea showed the same character they shown while Potter was the manager with Kai Havertz and Joao Felix missing great chances.

Chelsea gave Liverpool no chance to control the midfield with total dominance.

N’Golo Kante and Enzo Fernandez who were in form of their life were exceptional in midfield with tackles and passes to the strikers.

That was the fourth goalless draw in a row between both teams, including the FA Cup and Carabao Cup finals, which Liverpool won both on penalties.

Chelsea fans are saying the same thing about Frank Lampard after he was spotted at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea legend and former Everton manager was spotted at Stamford Bridge to watch his former team play against Liverpool.

Lampard, who is 44 years old, has been out of work since January 2023, when he was sacked by Everton after leaving the Toffees in the relegation battle.

It was reported that Chelsea are looking forward to bringing Lampard back to Stamford Bridge as caretaker manager until the end of the season.

Chelsea fans have been saying the same thing after spotting the former manager.

One of the fans shared a clip showing Lampard’s coaching moment at Chelsea with the tag “run it back”

Some Twitter users said the manager is looking to get on the good side of the bosses and he might be on the list of potential coaches.

Two fans said the same thing, pleading to Chelsea to sign him up as the interim manager.

However, few people were against the idea of bringing Lampard back as a manager until the end of the season.

One person said Lampard needs to stay away from Behdad Eghbali before he mistakenly appoints him for the job.

Another Chelsea fan said Lampard is not getting the job.

Another person said whatever Lampard is cooking, he should stop because Chelsea is not taking him back.

Lampard spent 18 months managing Chelsea without lifting a title from July 2019 to January 2021.

He was later sacked by Chelsea after winning 52 percent of the games; after that, he was replaced by Thomas Tuchel, who went on to win the Champions League six months later.

The Blues are still in search of a new manager, with Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique being linked with the Chelsea job.

There are talks to bring German tactician Nagelsmann to Stamford Bridge, but it will be difficult for him to accept the job currently because the project is not that attractive.
