    Chelsea fans were spotted around former Chelsea legendary defender John Terry after Chelsea’s barren draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

    The former Chelsea captain and Premier League legend was filmed celebrating with Chelsea at the away end at Anfield during the Blues’ draw with Liverpool on Saturday.

    He made out time to join the teeming fans at Anfield as Chelsea took on Liverpool in a tight Premier League encounter.

    Chelsea dominated the game and gave the ex-defender some bragging rights, but they failed to convert their dominance into a goal, settling for a barren draw with the Reds.

    John Terry was mobbed up by jubilant and excited Chelsea fans who were happy to have the legend in the stands to watch the game.

    Serenading the Premier League legend, the fans dragged John Terry into the jubilant mood at Anfield after they chorused a song mentioning the former England star.

    The fans sang: ‘John Terry has won the double,’ with the 42-year-old struggling to resist joining in, before he began jumping with the supporters in jubilation.

    Terry, who made 721 appearances for Chelsea, posed for photos with the supporters and struggled for space after being surrounded by the fans before they started the song.

    The former Aston Villa star posted photos including a selfie in the away end on his Instagram page and he shared a pint with supporters on a ground he appeared at many times as a player.

    After calling time on his football career, John Terry took up a coaching role at Aston Villa, where he played in the last days of his illustrious career.

    When he left the Aston Villa role, he was given a consultancy role at Chelsea in January 2022. His Premier League exploits had made him extremely relevant and popular, especially among Chelsea fans.

    Reacting to the fans’ excitement about him at Anfield, Terry said he loved being at the away end with the supporters to see what they see and feel what they feel.

    ‘I loved being in the away end with our supporters today’, the English legend said. ‘As a player you arrive on the bus and head straight to the dressing room, you don’t get to see or feel what the fans feel.’

    He also added he would always want to be at the away end with Chelsea fans when attending matches even after his retirement because he loved what he saw. Terry thanked the fans who traveled to watch Chelsea’s games and support the club.

    ‘When I retired I always wanted to be in the away end with our supporters and I absolutely loved it today’, he added.

    ‘A huge thank you to our supporters who travel the world supporting our great club. I f love you all.’

    While it was another great atmosphere for John Terry at Anfield, Chelsea could not cap his joy with a win over Liverpool. They unfortunately settled for a barren draw after the final whistle, but it was a promising performance by the visitors.

    At least the football legend did not have to bury his face in disappointment since the Blues managed to grab a big point from the hosts.

    John Terry won the Champions League, Premier League, EFA Cup, EFL Cup, and FIFA Club Cup with Chelsea during his days at the club.

    He joined Aston Villa in the twilights of his club career and was appointed assistant manager in 2018. In 2021, he left his role at Aston Villa and later took up a coaching consultancy role at Chelsea In 2022.
