The European football governing body, UEFA, has released the Champions League team of the week for Matchday Four.
Starting from the goalpost is AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Magnian. The French goalkeeper made necessary saves to help the Serie A giants, AC Milan secure three points against Real Madrid.
From the defensive position is Bayern Munich right-back Alphonso Davies who has been impressive for the Bundesliga giants, and he performed exceptionally against Benfica.
Davies is currently facing uncertainty in terms of his future at Bayern Munich, with teams like Real Madrid and Manchester United monitoring his contract situation.
Monaco centre-back Thilo Kehrer played an integral part in ensuring the Ligue 1 giants secured all three points against Bologna.
He made exceptional blocks and aggressively pulled off balls from attackers.
Another player who made it to the Champions League team of the week is Isak Hien. The Atalanta centre-back helped the Europa League reigning champions secure three points against VfB Stuttgart.
Lastly in the defensive area is Atletico Madrid right back Nahuel Molina. The Argentine was instrumental to the success of Atletico Madrid against Paris Saint-Germain.
Molina scored the first goal for the Atletico Madrid side in the 18th minute of the match.
For the midfield, Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz made it to the Champions League team of the week after a hattrick against Bayer Leverkusen.
The Colombian has scored nine goals in all competitions so far this season. He is expected to add more to his goal tally before the season ends.
PSV star Malik Tillman is another midfielder in the Champions League team of the week.
Tillman scored a goal and created two assists against Girona. Also, he played six shots against Spanish team.
Another player on the team of the week is Pierre Lees-Melou, who helped Brest defeat Sparta Prague in the Champions League.
Since the beginning of the 2024-25 Champions League campaign, Lees-Melou has been impressive.
Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn, who plays for Celtic, is on the list of the Champions League team of the week. He scored two goals and played three shots on target against RB Leipzig.
Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, who is one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, scored three goals against Manchester City in the European tournament.
The striker has scored five goals in four Champions League matches.
RB Salzburg striker, Karim Konate, is also on the list of Champions League players of the week.
Konate scored two goals and played three shots against the Feyenoord side as RB Salzburg scored three goals in the match.
The Ivorian has scored two goals in the last four Champions League matches.
