The five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo was sacked by United following his bombshell interview where he axed Erik Ten Hag and the club’s hierarchy, saying he felt betrayed by the club and did not respect manager Erik ten Hag.

In the aftermath, Manchester United confirmed on Tuesday evening, November 22 that they had ripped off his £500,000-a-week contract with immediate effect.

However, his former Real Madrid and United teammate Casemiro revealed he is unhappy to see the Portuguese star leave and believes the whole of Manchester will be ‘sad’ as well.

Casemiro and Ronaldo were long-time teammates at Real Madrid, with the duo winning a plethora of trophies in Santiago Bernabeu.

Their reunion at Old Trafford only lasted three months before Ronaldo’s contract was mutually terminated on Tuesday following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Speaking ahead of Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Serbia on Thursday, November 24, the 30-year-old Brazilian midfielder admitted he has not discussed any matter related to Ronaldo’s sack with him but he feels sad about his abrupt exit from United.

Casemiro said: “I haven’t exchanged any messages with him, but Cristiano Ronaldo is a player with great experience, and he knows what’s best for his career,” he said.

“Of course we are sad a player like him is leaving because we are talking about one of the best players of all time.”

The former Real Madrid star and new United signing Casemiro wished Ronaldo the best in the future and cheekily made an exemption of when they meet as opponents.

He added, smiling: “I wish him all the best in his football career – except when he plays against me – but I wish him all the best.”

Both players are currently on World Cup duty doing well for their countries.

Casemiro played the full 90 minutes in Brazil’s win over Serbia on Thursday while Ronaldo got on the scoresheet in Portugal’s 3-2 victory over Ghana.

Trouble on Collecting Ronaldo’s Belongings at Cheshire.

While Ronaldo is busy with international duty in Qatar, back in Cheshire, England, there was trouble collecting his belongings from his £5 million rented mansion where he lived with his family.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are relocating from Manchester with his flashy motors taken away on Tuesday before his sack from Old Trafford was announced the same day.

The Portuguese star had his £150,000 Cadillac Escalade and £300,000 Bentley Flying Spur loaded onto a transporter last week Tuesday.

Afterwards, a huge lorry was sent to pack Ronaldo and his family’s belongings on Friday, November 25 after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.

However, the lorry had to give up and leave empty-handed after being stagnant for an hour and holding up traffic in an attempt to weave its way into Ronaldo’s rented property.

A smaller lorry will now need to be hired to reach the property and pack up Ronaldo’s belongings, including his extensive trainer collection worth £50,000.

Meanwhile, every player has the mobility tendency to leave a club just like Ronaldo’s exit from Old Trafford but it is adequate to always leave in friendly zones.

Although, Cristiano Ronaldo reveals that he still loves the club and he will forever admire United fans but the fact remains that it’s such a painful exit for him and his fans.

In a statement earlier in the week, Ronaldo said: “Following talks with Manchester United, we’ve mutually agreed to end our contract.

“I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never change.

“It feels like the right time to seek a new challenge. I wish Man Utd all the best.”

It remains to be seen the next club the Portuguese legendary striker would go to when another transfer window opens in January but it will most likely be a champions league club.

What’s Next for Ronaldo?

The Portuguese star will hopefully seal the hope of qualifying his side to the round of 16 after an impressive 3-2 victory against Ghana as they will play their second match with Uruguay on Monday, November 28. The match will take place at Lusail Stadium, with kickoff time at 20:00 BST.
