Carlo Ancelotti has praised Jude Bellingham for having the guts and “character” to be angry at his teammate, Vinicius Jr.

During the post-match press conference after the game against Celta de Vigo, the Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti said, “I haven’t seen that play you’re talking about, but if it has happened, it means that he has balls and character, and it seems good to me.”

“Honestly, I didn’t realise the play had happened. I’ll watch it. But if he has reacted. let’s be calm. After the game, they were talking and laughing. They have no problems.”

“The merit we have is that we always compete well, until the end. We could have played better, yes, but the group was committed and knew how to suffer because Celta also competed well, with intensity.”

“We took three important points thanks to a fantastic pass from Luka Modric to Vincius. It’s something normal for him because of his enormous quality.”

“Luka always contributes, whether he is a starter or coming off the bench. He has such great quality that it always adds up.”

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham reacted angrily to Vinicius Jr. not passing the ball to him during the Real Madrid 2-1 win against Celta de Vigo.

The English star gestured furiously after Vinicius Jr. ignored him in the first half of the Real Madrid game.

Instead, the Brazilian winger hit the ball aggressively, missing from a tight corner.

Real Madrid could have been punished for Vinicius Jr.’s selfish act after Williot Swedberg scored the equalizer for the host, but the Brazilian made up for his mistake with the winner in the 66th minute of the match.

Even though Bellingham was furious at Vinicius Jr for not making a simple pass, they both hugged themselves after the game.

The Real Madrid victory over Celta de Vigo put them on the same level in terms of points with Barcelona. Both teams are currently in 24 points so far this season after 10 games.

However, Barcelona have a game in hand against Sevilla on October 20, 2024. A win for Barcelona will put them three points ahead of their archrival Real Madrid.

Both teams will meet in the El Classico for the first time in the 2024-25 season on October 26, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. WAT.

Real Madrid Performance in the Spanish La Liga This Season

The Spanish La Liga reigning champions, Real Madrid, have not performed as to what many expected them to do.

With the acquisition of Kylian Mbappe as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain, many thought they would see a dominant team.

However, the team have failed to perform beyond expectations.

They struggled against the lesser teams and haven’t been clinical enough in front of goal.

The Real Madrid team are likely to be exposed when they play against a more clinical team in all competitions this season.
