Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has waived the rumors going around that James Rodriguez, after some month of his arrival to the Goodison Park is still ‘unsettled’

The Italian coach has peace of mind on the progress of the Columbian who has scored five goals with three assists in seventeen Premier League appearances for the Toffees.

The 29-year-old attacking midfielder has a two-year-old contract with the club with an option of signing his third in September 2020. Upon arrival, the 2014 World Cup golden boot winner has been helping the seventh-placed club, struggling to keep his head above the league waters.

“Oh! he’s ok, he has no problem,” Carlo Ancelotti said.

The manager admitted his strong bond with Rodriguez which makes him confident and motivated.

“I talk to him every day, he’s happy here. He’s confident, motivated.

But he said he initially had an injury problem, but he’s in good condition recently

“He had a little problem in the last few games with his calf, but now he’s in a good condition. He feels good here because everyone takes care of him and that’s it.” He said

“I don’t know if he complains about the weather, but we know it’s not the best weather ever! But there are a lot of things good in this area.”

Rodriguez started from the bench against Manchester City at which they suffered a huge defeat from Pep Guardiola’s English machines. But Ancelotti said he might be back in the Merseyside derby, between the club and Liverpool on Saturday.

“He had a knock [versus City] and he was not fit 100 per cent,” added Ancelotti.

    “No, he’s not 100 percent, but he’s 99%.”

The club manager also said that the club’s highest goal scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin will parade against the Reds at Anfield.
