Real Madrid are sweating with a grave injury scare as prolific English talent Jude Bellingham battles shoulder injury.
Bellingham had to be attended to in the first half of Real Madrid’s La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano after he plunged to the ground and clutch his shoulder in agony.
The 21-year-old seemed obviously agonized by a possible shoulder dislocation. However, he was able to continue in his game after being attended to.
He continued with action till the final whistle but there have been grave concerns after he was seen with clads of heavy bandages on his shoulder after the match.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano after the draw against Rayo Vallecano, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has shedded light on the injury situation of Jude Bellingham.
Ancelotti revealed the club is set to conduct further examinations on Jude Bellingham for details of the injury. Meanwhile, he seemed to play down the impact of the injury adding he is hoping to have Bellingham feature for Los Blancos in their Champions League matchday 4 clash against Portuguese side Sporting Braga.
“Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder and will undergo test to further examine the injury. But we hope he will make the trip to Portugal,” Carlo Ancelotti said.
Bellingham has won the clout with his elite level performance for Real Madrid since joining the club for €105m from Borussia Dortmund. He his La Liga and Real Madrid current topscorer with 10 goals. He has also scored three times in the UEFA Champions League for the Laliga giants.
Jude Bellingham deservedly won 2023 Kopa Trophy largely due to his remarkable and gilt-edged performance with Real Madrid.
