Bukayo Saka is enjoying his best season in Arsenal shirt.

The utility player won’t forget this year in a hurry despite being a torrid year for football that has to struggle financially due to the ravaging coronavirus that has brought a second wave infection, leading to another four weeks lockdown in the UK.

Saka has been a mainstay in the Arsenal squad and he looked to have dislodged Arsenal record signing, Nicolas Pepe at a point in the team.

Bukayo Saka came in and change the dynamics of the game for Arsenal gainst Molde

Saka, who staked a claim to the starting shirt under former coach, Unai Emery showed what he can do both defensively and offensively for the Gunners this season.

This caught the attention of England manager, Gareth Southgate, who eventually gave him his national team debut as he chose England over Nigeria.

Since last season, Saka has grown more in confidence, forming partnerships with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on most occasions.

The England international seemed to thrive playing on the left-back being a left-footer, unlike most left-wingers, who prefers to operate on the right-wing in order to be cutting in.

The 19-year-old has been part of an Arsenal squad that has won 15 of their 21 UEFA Europa League group stage games (D4 L2)- this is at least six more than any other side since the 2017/18 season.

How Bukayo Saka has been a revelation for Arsenal

Individually, he has been involved in many Arsenal goals since breaking into the first team.

This is coming after committing to Arsenal on a long-term deal last week. Saka has since the start of last season registered 14 assists in all competitions. This record is more than any other teenager for a Premier League club at that time.

He was a menace against Molde yesterday as he dazzles with his unpredictable trickish play that saw Pepe scoring a goal as well.

The 4-1 win recorded by Arsenal sees them maintaining their 100 percent start in the competition this term, staying on top of the log on 9 points after three games.

Coming in to change the game for Arsenal shows that Saka is growing with each game as more responsibilities are being put on his shoulder now. He came into the game to provide his six assists in the Europa League since the start of last season, which is also more than any other player in the competition.

Saka will be one of the future assist providers for Arsenal. It won’t be a surprise to see Saka becoming a contender for the assist of the season with the rate at which he is going.

As he is guaranteed a start in this talented side, it is hoped that Saka will be lucky this time around to add goals to his impressive assist stats.

Let’s see if he will be able to do that against Aston Villa which has conceded 7 goals in two games this weekend at Villa Park.
