Medical exams were conducted in two sessions, one yesterday and the other this morning. Contract is valid through 2026. Fee: €40 million + €2 million in add-ons.

The add-ons for Bruno Guimares’ contract will be €8 million, not €2 million, as previously stated – contract 2026 confirmed. After all paperwork is completed between teams tonight, an official announcement will be made.

Bruno has already signed his contract, which was completed this afternoon. Newcastle managed to get Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood across the line, but then there was a gap.

There were a few setbacks along the road, to be sure. However, it seems that Newcastle has finally completed the Guimaraes transfer.

Romano claims that all parties involved signed the necessary documents in Belo Horizonte. Guimaraes’ medical was apparently done in two sessions – yesterday and this morning.
