Brighton vs Liverpool: Solly March and Danny Welbeck humiliated Liverpool and made them look like a mid-table team after scoring three goals in the second half.

Brighton produced one of the most interesting second halves with total dominance over Liverpool.

Liverpool arrived at the Amex Stadium knowing that a drop in points would affect their confidence and increase the point gap between them and fourth place.

Brighton outplayed Liverpool from the first whistle to the end of the match. Roberto De Zerbi’s side had 69% of the ball, and Liverpool had 31%.

Brighton scored three goals in the second half to humiliate Liverpool in one of his poorest performances on the pitch.

Alexander-Arnold later had a wretched afternoon at the hands of the unstoppable Kaoru Mitoma. The Japanese winger tormented Alexander Arnold.

Evans Ferguson missed Brighton’s further chances, with Liverpool making continuous mistakes at the back. Liverpool Joel Matip couldn’t even make a good clearance and lacked fighting spirit in the match.
