Brazil football legend and former Barcelona star Rivaldo Ferreira has celebrated his 51st birthday in style with his teeming Instagram fans.
Taking to his social media handle, the former Barcelona star thanked God for a worthwhile 51 years of life with his family, friends, and fans.
Posting a glowing footage of himself with his number of years on his arms, Rivaldo wrote;
“Thank you my God for my 51 years of life. I am very grateful for providing me with so many wonderful moments in my life.
“Thank you to all my family that I love very much, thank you to my friends and fans for your love.
“God is faithful all the time. Blessed us. Thanks for the Lord has helped us 1 Sam 7:12.”
Rivaldo hung his football boots in March, 2014 but returned from retirement to play for Mogi Mirim in 2015 before going back to retirement.
After ending his 20-year football career, Rivaldo has continued with his private life off the pitch but is still close to football finding his way to the administrative cadre in Mogi Mirim as President.

Rivaldo Vitor Borba Ferreira, popularly known as Rivaldo, is a 51-year-old former footballer.
Born in Recife, Brazil, the 1.86m-tall former footballer used to play as an attacking midfielder for Brazil national team and clubs throughout his career.
He started his youth career at Paulistano and Santa Cruz before making his first senior club appearance for Santa Cruz in 1991.
