Bournemouth will host Arsenal in the English Premier League on matchday 7 at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, 30th of September.

The Cherries and the Gunners will return to action after the mid-week Carabao Cup third round game through which the two teams booked their place into the next round of the tournament.

Mikel Arteta’s men secured a 1-0 victory over London rivals Brentford while Bournemouth cruised to a 2-0 triumph over Stoke City in the EFL game on Wednesday, 27th of September.

The two victorious teams will likely build on their recent success as they go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal have demonstrated a promising performance since the beginning of the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign, as they remain unbeaten in their last six games after their success against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield final.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, have performed below expectations. Their recent success only came in the EFL Cup matches while they have not registered a win in the Premier League.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal Team News

Bournemouth

The home team will face a tough test against Arsenal as Solanke’s brilliant start to the new season ended in a distress for the striker on Wednesday as he was taken off in the 85th minute of play after he suffered an ankle injury.

The striker has been added to the Cherries injury list, with the likes of Emiliano Marcondes who is nursing a foot injury, Alex Scott suffering from a knee injury, Ryan Fredericks, and Lloyd Kelly both with a calf injury.

Tyler Adams was handed his debut against Stoke City after he recovered from a hamstring injury.

Except Solanke makes a quick recovery than expected, Antoine Semenyo and Kieffer Moore will fight for the right to lead the hosts’ attack, while Neto, Max Aarons, Philip Billing, and Marcus Tavernier are all in line to return to the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Arsenal came out of Wednesday’s match unharmed except for Emile Smith Rowe who had a knock.

The Gunners have a little bit of worries in the midfield and attack positions with Declan Rice being subbed off in their last Premier League game against Tottenham after the English star suffered a minor back issues.

Bukoyo Saka was also subbed off after he sustained a calf injury before the final whistle was blown at the Emirates Stadium.

The duo has not been ruled out for the game yet but Nelson and Jorginho could be the competent alternatives, while Gabriel Martinelli with a hamstring injury, Leandro Trossard nursing a thigh problem, Thomas Partey with groin issue, and Jurrien Timber suffering from a knee injury will remain out for some time.

David Raya may start ahead of Ramsdale in goal while Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Odegaard are among the Gunners’ regular first-team XI set to return to the starting lineup.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal H2H

Arsenal had been able to defeat the Cherries four times, while they only managed to record a draw during the two teams’ last five Premier League games.

Venue, Date and Time;

The match between the two teams is scheduled to be played on the 30th of September, at the Vitality Stadium by 3:00 pm (BST).

Prediction

Bournemouth have been struggling for goals since the start of the new season, while Mikel Arteta’s men have been a threat for their opponent so far.

Therefore, judging by their recent performances, it is safe to say that the Gunners will secure all three points at the Vitality Stadium but it won’t be an easy task. We say Arsenal will secure a 2-0 victory against the home team.
