Dani Carvajal is expected to be unavailable for action for Real Madrid in the coming weeks due to a cruciate ligament injury which he sustained in their 2-0 win over Villarreal.

The Spaniard couldn’t complete the clash against Villarreal due to the injury, as he exited the pitch in the 89th minute.

Carlo Ancelotti Lifts Lid On The Injury To Dani Carvajal 

Los Blancos boss Carlos Ancelotti indicated that Carvajal’s injury is a “serious one” and they are very sad for the defender due to the knock.

Ancelotti also noted the importance of Dani Carvajal to Real Madrid whilst sharing that they are waiting for the final results of the test to ascertain the severity of the injury.

Carlo Ancelotti Answers Question Regarding Real Madrid Needing A Replacement For Dani Carvajal 

Carlo Ancelotti was also quizzed about signing a new right back to replace Carvajal and he claimed that Lucas Vazquez could deputize well in that position.
