Benjamin Mendy Trial: A woman allegedly had sex with Jack Grealish the night she was raped by Mendy’s buddy Louis Saha Matturie, a court heard.
When the women were attacked, Grealish, 27, and his Manchester City teammate were returning to Mendy’s Cheshire mansion in Prestbury from the China White nightclub, Chester Crown Court heard.
One 23-year-old woman said that she was assaulted by Matturie, Mendy’s co-accused, in a car while they went to acquire more alcohol.
The court was informed that she revealed she had had sex with Grealish to a second girl, 17, who alleges that Mendy raped her.
Mendy and Matturie each deny having committed numerous sex offenses against numerous young ladies.
On Friday, a police interview with the minor who had accused Mendy and Matturie of rape was played to the jury. She claimed that while the group was gathered, Mendy sexually assaulted her twice at his home.
The youngster took a taxi to Mendy’s residence in the early hours of August 23, 2017, after leaving a nightclub in Manchester with three other girls and a friend of Matturie. The girls had their cell phones confiscated before entering Mendy’s home, the court was informed.
The 23-year-old was then allegedly brought away “hand in hand” by Matturie to get more drink since, according to the witness who called the police, “Jack had been demanding vodka.”
The 23-year-old was reportedly raped by Matturie in the car they had used to get to the store before arriving back at the house.
The teenager disclosed to the police that: “I asked her what happened. I took her to the toilet. She’s absolutely distraught, in hysterics.”
“She just told me she had fallen asleep in the car and woke up with the feeling of him pushing inside her.”
Police were informed by the adolescent that she felt “uncomfortable,” was unsure of what to do, and lacked a phone to call for assistance.
Later, she claimed that Mendy started “checking her out” in a lounge area before escorting her to an office with a strong lock.
Mendy allegedly sexually assaulted the then-teenager twice inside the workplace.
She provided the following information to the police: “We did not talk about sex beforehand and afterward we did not talk about it.
“There was nothing of the sort to suggest we were going to engage in sex.”
The 17-year-old then went looking for the 23-year-old and discovered her in a lounge.
She told officers: “She told me she had sex with Jack.
“I don’t know whether that was consensual or non-consensual. I don’t know what that was. But she was talking about it.
“I know that this was after I had been with Ben, because after she had gone to bed with Ben as well.
“She had been taken up to a room with Ben. This was a bedroom.”
The teen said that Matturie raped her in a movie theater after Mendy had already done so.
She reported seeing Grealish “passed out” inside the residence.
On the same day, she claimed Matturie sexually assaulted her once more in a Manchester apartment.
Benjamin Mendy contests the allegations of six young women being sexually assaulted, one attempted rape, and seven cases of rape.
Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, had also denied three counts of sexual assault and six counts of rape involving seven young women.
If any sexual activity did occur with women or girls, according to both men, it was consensual.
Who Is Benjamin Mendy
French professional footballer Benjamin Mendy (born 17 July 1994) is a left-back for Manchester City in the Premier League. From 2017 until 2019, he wore the France national team’s uniform.
Mendy started his playing career in 2010 with the Le Havre’s reserve team after graduating from the club’s development program. A year later, he was promoted to the first squad.
He stayed with the organization until 2013, when he switched to Marseille of Ligue 1. Mendy played with Les Olympiens for the following three seasons before moving on to Monaco, where he won the national championship in 2016–17.
Mendy transferred to English club Manchester City in the summer of 2017 for a then-record transfer fee for a defender. Following that, he won the Premier League.
After being capped by France youth teams at the under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19, and under-21 levels, Mendy made his senior debut for France in 2017. He was chosen for the France team that competed in and won the 2018 World Cup.
Manchester City suspended Mendy in August 2021 after he was accused of sexual offenses. He entered a not guilty plea in May 2022 to seven rape, one sexual assault, and one attempted rape accusations involving six complainants.

Matturie currently resides in Eccles’ Edwin Court but is originally from Sierra Leone.
In the lawsuit involving the £52 million Manchester City player Mendy, he is a co-defendant.
The allegations made against Matturie involved four complainants of raping ladies who are older than 16 and are said to have occurred between March 2021 and August 2021.
The 40-year-old showed up before Chester Crown Court on Monday, September 6, 2021, and was subsequently remanded in custody until Friday, September 10.
