Ben Cull, a former youth footballer of England, has popped the question to girlfriend, Daisy Morrison in the hospital, where is presently undergoing treatment for cancer.
The 24-year-old took to Instagram to share the heartening story, and he has received remarkable support on that platform ever since.
Ben represented the cadet teams of Southampton, playing for the U18, and U23 teams, before his promising career was halted due to the dreaded disease.
The defender was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Erwing’s sarcoma at the age of 17.
Despite the disease, girlfriend Daisy Morrison has constantly shown her support for the Englishman.
Daisy and Ben Cull are now engaged after the former footballer proposed to his darling in the hospital where he is receiving treatment for cancer.
In a lengthy statement shared on his Instagram account, Ben revealed that he had planned the proposal since 2022, and he afterward professed his undying love to his girlfriend.
He wrote: “Marry Me? ❤️
“Daisy I’ve had this planned since last year…
“This isn’t exactly what I had in mind for when I wanted to tell you how I felt about you & how I might ask you!”
The 24-year-old also stated that Daisy Morrison has made him a better person, right from meeting her when he was a boy till now when he is a man.
Ben Cull added: “From the moment I met you I knew you were different in all the right ways, you changed me for the better, I met you boy and I stand here now a man.”

In professing his love for the English lady, the ex-Southampton man wrote: “I promise you I will fight with everything I have to be able to see you walk down that isle & I promise to remind you of my love for you every single day for as-long as I live!”

The GoFundMe was created to cater to the defender’s “bucket list ideas”.
Ben Cull also represented England at junior level, making one appearance in total for the Under 16.
The 24-year-old is the brother of Alex Cull, who also represented Southampton at junior levels.
He made 23 appearances for the Under 18 team of Southampton and only 1 appearance for the Under 21 team of the Saints.
Alex Cull is currently clubless, and he last played for Southern Premier League club, Wimborne Town FC.
Ben Cull was born on the 21st of October 1998, while Alex Cull was born on the 2nd of June 2000.
