Ben Chilwell of Chelsea has extended his Blues contract that will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2027.
The England International who was signed by current Chelsea caretaker manager, Frank Lampard, from Leicester for £45m has made 80 appearances in all competitions.
The defender was part of the team that beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Final of The 2021 Champions League in Switzerland.
The new deal which the defender signed will see him remain at the club until last summer of 2027:
“I feel very settled at Chelsea and have really enjoyed my time on the pitch here so I’m very pleased the club want me to be part of the project long-term, and am very happy to sign this extension to my contract”, Ben Chilwell said after signing the new deal.
“We are working hard for success and I will do my best to bring more smiles to the faces of the fans who have made me feel so welcome”.
The England International who has 18 caps for the National team, has made 80 appearances for the Blues and scored nine goals. His last goal was against his former club Leicester City in March 2023.

Benjamin James Chilwell is an English footballer who plays as a left-back for Chelsea and the England national team as well.
The Englishman was born on 21st of December 1996 in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and he was raised in Ampthil in Bedfordshire.
Chilwell went to Redborne Upper School and Community College in Ampthil.
Chilwell’s father is of New Zealand descent and emigrated to England in 1993, three years after they gave birth to Chilwell.
Chilwell started his professional career at Leicester City then went on loan to Huddersfield Town before signing for Chelsea in 2020.
Chilwell’s maternal grandfather Guy Shuttleworth was also a sportsman who played football for Corinthian-Casuals F.C. where he won an international cap for England Amateurs in 1949 and also represented Cambridge University at first-class cricket.
Guy Shuttleworth died at the age of 94 in January 2021.
Ben Chilwell is the godfather to his former teammate and fellow Englishman James Maddidon’s first son.
