Bayern Munich have overtaken Premier League clubs to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.
According to HITC, the Bundesliga giants have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for the services of the 23-year-old.
The agreement with Crystal Palace came after the club had agreed personal terms with Olise. Crystal Palace are set to pocket £50 million for the English-born French youth player.
Olise reportedly gave the green light for a move to Germany after Bayern Munich came calling amidst interest from Premier League Clubs.
Chelsea led the race for forward among other Premier League Clubs and were reportedly ready to trigger his release clause after talks with Crystal Palace.
It was the second time they have made advances for the youngster after doing so in 2023 when the player signed new long-term contract with the club.
Manchester United were also link with a move for Olise as the Red Devils hope to bolster their attacking lineup with Antony falling below the pecking order. With the array of interests from rival Premier League Clubs, Olise’s decision played a big role in the Bayern Munich move.
The French U21 star will be hoping to continue on his top-level performance as he takes up a new challenge with Bayern Munich.
