Bayern Munich have reached an agreement to sign Tottenham veteran striker Harry Kane according to a report.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Tottenham to acquire the services of striker Harry Kane in a deal valued at over €100 million.
The German Giant successfully persuaded Daniel Levy to agree to their offer after three unsuccessful attempts to secure the England captain.
David Ornstein also confirmed that the Bavarians have reached an agreement with Tottenham to acquire their star player for a substantial fee exceeding €100m (£86m/$110m).
The all-time leading scorer for Tottenham, Kane, has an impressive record of 280 goals in 435 appearances.
As a graduate of the Spurs academy, he is now preparing to leave his beloved childhood club and join Bayern Munich.
The German champions are planning to break their transfer record to bring Harry Kane to Germany for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Kane is currently facing a decision, as it is believed that he is inclined to remain with Tottenham.
However, Kane, whose contract expires next summer, expressed his desire to have his future settled before Tottenham’s first Premier League match against Brentford on Sunday, August 13.
Kane’s performance last season was remarkable, as he scored 30 goals in the Premier League.
However, it was a disappointing campaign for Spurs overall, as they finished eighth and missed out on European football.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that the team has not won a trophy since 2008.
Now, it was indicated that the 30-year-old had decided that this summer would be the appropriate time to depart from Spurs.
He is highly valued and regarded by the club’s hierarchy and supporters as he holds the title of their all-time leading goalscorer.
Moving to the Bundesliga champions seems like an attractive option.
Still, it remains uncertain whether Tottenham’s renowned player, who supposedly reached an agreement with Bayern earlier in the transfer window, will ultimately finalize the move.
Paul Merson from Sky Sports opined that Tottenham should seriously consider accepting the offer, especially considering that the player only has one year left on his contract.
Merson said: “Tottenham can’t turn this money down with one year left on his contract when they think he is going to walk for free at the end of it.”
“Yes, he is 30 years old, but I don’t focus on age. Based on his playing style, I believe he can easily continue playing until the age of 35 or 36.”
“He doesn’t depend on speed; his intellect is just as impressive as anyone else’s.”

Kane has scored a total of 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs. He recorded his first goal in December 2011.
He has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games, which means he is only 48 goals away from surpassing Alan Shearer’s record as the all-time leading scorer in Premier League history.
