Barcelona are reportedly considering a January transfer for Manchester United’s out-of-favor duo and two Arsenal players.
According to reports, the Spanish club side are weighing up a move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial with Kia Havartz and Jorginho included in the club transfer shortlist.
Jadon Sancho is expected to leave the Red Devils during the winter transfer window following his burst-up with the club’s head coach Erik ten Hag which has seen him not included in the club’s first-team.
The Dutch manager declared during a press conference on Friday, 29th of September that the 23-year-old England International is still not being selected for the weekend match due to the recent incidents between the two.
Erik ten Hag blamed Sancho for not training well earlier this month, but the former Borussia Dortmund player insisted and further claimed that the coach was lying.
The report also claimed that Anthony Martial is being assessed by Barcelona with the French International currently facing an uncertain future at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old still has a contract with the Old Trafford outfit until June 2024 with an option to extend the deal until the summer of 2025.
Anthony Martial is currently being included in the first team unlike Sancho, and the French striker has made six appearances this new season which came as a substitute, scoring once and registering one assist.
The former AS Monaco star has made 304 appearances for Man United across all competitions, scoring 89 goals and registering 54 assists, but has mostly found it tough to make his mark in recent times.
Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez is believed to be an admirer of the duo who are possibly to be available next year, with the thought that they are not in Ten Hag’s long-term plan.
The current La Liga champions are not required to be in a position to spend huge money in January following their financial crisis but loan deals are understood to be valid.
The La Liga outfit could seize on the mistrust encircling both players at Arsenal with a January swoop in a similar situation to their moves for Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo during the summer transfer window.
Jorginho is in the final year of his current contract with the Gunners but Kai Havertz just joined the club from Chelsea this summer.

The former Bayer Leverkusen player has yet to register a goal in nine matches for the Gunners since his 65 million pounds move in June in a deal that will run until 2028, However, a January transfer would be extremely shocking.
