Barcelona Vice President Rafael Yuste has confirmed the club has been in contact with Messi for him to return to the club.
“Leo and his family know the affection I have for them.
“Messi knows how much we appreciate him. I would love for him to come back. We’re in contact, of course, with them,” Rafael Yuste said on Friday.
Lionel Messi is Barcelona’s all-time top scorer, having scored 672 goals in 778 matches for the club before he left in 2021.
In his two seasons with PSG, Lionel Messi has scored 29 goals in 66 matches.
