Ballon d’Or organizers have introduced new rules ahead of the anticipated French Individual Award for Best Player of the Year.

Ahead of the big show in Paris, France, a significant change has been revealed.

The award ceremony will take place on October 28, 2024, with neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo being nominated for the award for the first time in 21 years.

Rodri, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Jr. will battle for the prestigious individual award, with different rumors stating that Vinicius Jr. will be announced the winner on October 28, 2024.

Vinicius Jr. is the favourite to win the award after a stellar performance in the 2023-24 season.
