In the second minute of additional time, replacement De Jong connected with a Jordi Alba cross and headed into the bottom corner to give Barca their sixth consecutive LaLiga victory.
After beating Getafe 2-0 at home on Saturday, Barca moved into second place in the rankings with 60 points after 30 games, but they are still a long way behind leaders Real Madrid, who have 72 points from 31 games. Levante is in 19th place with 22 points.
