Manchester City have accepted the bid of Atletico Madrid over the sale of attacker Julian Alvarez.

Reports indicate that the Cityzens have agreed to the final proposal sent in by Atletico Madrid for Alvarez which is said to be €75 million plus €20 million in add-ons.

Los Colchoneros are understood to be discussing personal terms with Julian Alvarez, with Manchester City prepared to authorize the Argentine’s medical in Spain once all agreements are reached.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid’s contract proposal has been sent to Julián Álvarez and his agent Hidalgo, who’s in Europe this week.

Alvarez is expected to sign a five-year contract with Los Colchoneros, with the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner also receiving 100% of his image rights.

Julian Alvarez has all through the summer been linked with a move away from Manchester City, with Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea also understood to have been keen on securing his services.
