Arsenal will be hoping to continue their winning streak after losing their first two games since the restart of the Premier League.

Coincidentally this will be Arsenal’s first home game since the restart against a struggling Norwich side that is rooted to the bottom of the Premier League. The reverse fixture had ended 2-2 while Freddie Ljungberg was in the acting capacity before the arrival of Mikel Arteta.

Arteta, who has been trying to make Arsenal play his style of the game, will be looking for the third win on the bounce after beating Southampton and Sheffield United away from home in their last two games.

After resting some players for the FA Cup at Bramall Lane, Arteta will be bringing some big players back into the squad as the Gunners look for at least European competition places. The slot is highly competitive, with few points separating the teams from third to 9th.

FA Cup could be the easier route for Arsenal

Arsenal will be going into tonight’s game 10th on the Premier League log, and they are nine points off the top six. With a semi-final showdown against Manchester City set, the FA Cup currently looks like the easier route into Europe for the Gunners.

Othe teams standing in Arsenal’s way for their 14th FA Cup are Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea after knocking out Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Apart from that, Arsenal will be throwing everything into their last push up the league table with seven games remaining.

Likely starting line up for Arsenal Vs. Norwich

Expectedly, Arteta could still keep faith with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah in the attack, while Alexandre Lacazette, who started against Sheffield in the weekend could drop to the bench. He could also stick with the back three after the team looked more solid against Sheffield United. David Luiz could even be relegated to the bench by Rob Holding in the starting lineup. Holding was rock solid at the St Mary’s.

Mesut Ozil, Lucas Torreira, and Cedric Soares remain a doubt while Pablo Mari, Bernd Leno, Gabriel Martinelli, and Calum Chambers all out.

Lukas Rupp, Max Aarons, and Adam Idah could be given some tests ahead of the team’s visit to the Emirates Stadium, while Timm Klose and Moritz Leitner are absent due to suspension and hernia injury, but Todd Cantwell has passed fitness test following an abductor issue.

Grant Hanley, Christoph Zimmermann, and Sam Byram are all out the season due to injuries as well, which is affecting Norwich’s backline.

Arsenal predicted lineup (3-4-3): Martinez; Tierney, Holding, Mustafi; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ceballos, Saka; Pepe, Nketiah, Aubameyang.
