It was all glitz and glam as Wizkid shut down North London, becoming the first African artist to perform at the iconic stadium.

The 62,850-capacity Stadium was soldout with thousands of music lovers across Nigeria, UK, and other parts of the world trouping into the arena.

The Nigeria music superstar left no stone unturned as he treated thousands of his fans who attended the event with his top and breakthrough singles.

The highpoint of the event was Wizkid’s stunning and mind-blowing entrance into the arena which was greeted with cheers, uproar, and fireworks. The “Ojuelegba” crooner lit up the arena to the excitement of his fans when he graced the stage with his hot single, ‘Reckless’ from his award-winning and hit album, ‘Made in Lagos.’

After his entrance, Wizkid performed other top singles from his collection such as ‘Fever’, ‘the matter,’ and so on.

The event was also graced by other top Nigerian music artists such as Wande Coal and Seyi Vibes who lit up the show with breathtaking performances.

Premier League and Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka was among the list of A-list and high-profile celebrities who graced the event. Saka was spotted amid other celebrities who serenaded Wizkid in the show. The prolific winger made his way to the Afropop star and exchanged pleasantries before they shared a warm hug.

Wizkid’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Concert happened to be a beautiful coincidence that wouldn’t have eluded Saka.

First, the mega music show came near the doorsteps of Bukayo Saka who is residing in London, plying his trade with Arsenal football club in the Premier League.

Also, the event happened to be headlined by his countryman and at the right time after Arsenal wrapped up their preseason tour in the US.

Despite pitting tent with England national team, Bukayo Saka was born to Nigerian parents and feels strongly connected to his Nigerian heritage.

He recently visited Nigeria, and spend time with his family after the 2022/23 Premier League season. Saka has sponsored 120 children in Kano, a Northern state in Nigeria, on life changing medical operations to drive home his objectives of giving back to Nigeria.

Who is Wizkid?

Wizkid, 33, is stage name for Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, an award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter from Nigeria.

Wizkid started singing at the age of 11 in 2001 but he was shot to fame in 2011 when he released his hit album, ‘Superstar.’

He has dropped four more hit albums with his recent being ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ released in 2022.

Wizkid has bagged several awards, including the Grammy Award for the Best Music Video and is one of the most influential music artist in Nigeria and Africa.
