North London club Arsenal are currently the club that has made the most purchases in the Premier League but their manager Mikel Arteta believes that there will be more spending this summer.

So far this summer, Arsenal have spent a whopping £121.5million to buy players which is the highest amount of money any Premier League club has spent on players this summer.

Arsenal have spent more than any other Premier League club this summer,
    Mikel Arteta and Oleksandr Zinchenko

The Gunners completed their fifth signing of the summer, after confirming their signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City on Friday.

This leaves Mikel Arteta and his boys with no excuses for not winning titles next season because of the quality of their new players.

Note that Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Gabriel Jesus as the second player to join Arsenal football club from Manchester City.

The Ukrainian star player cost the club almost £30 million and joined other new signings Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos, and goalkeeper Matt Turner in the Emirates stadium.

However, according to Arsenal boss Arteta, the summer business isn’t quite done yet. Speaking to Sky Sports from the Universal Orlando Resort, he said: “We are completing what we planned. Bukayo Saka is one current Arsenal player who may decide to stay at the Emirates longer.”

The Daily Mail reports that the England international has been offered a new contract, although the player has been connected with several big Premier League clubs, including Manchester City.

Saka’s current deal with the Gunners expires in 2024, but if he commits to them for a further few years, his salary may nearly treble. As of right now, Saka has not formally accepted the offer.

With all the rebuilding process going on in the squad, Arsenal are already looking like title challengers ahead of next season. They have also started with the best form in their pre-season games as they have won four out of four games. Their recent victory came in a 4-0 win over arch-rivals Chelsea.

What To Expect From Some Of Arsenal New Players

    Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal have spent more than any other Premier League club this summer,
    Gabriel Jesus

The Brazilian star player has already gotten the main role as the first-choice striker in the club – something he never had at Man City. Jesus will be expected to lead the attack in every game he plays and also to bring a winning mentality to the club.

The 25-year-old is currently showing that he’s equal to the task ahead of him as he has found the back of the net four times in the pre-season games.

    Oleksandr Zinchenko

Although he was used as a left-back, Zinchenko can comfortably play as a midfielder. His versatility is one of the reasons why Mikel Arteta signed him and we could see him play in the middle next season.

    Fabio Vieira

The signing of Fabio Vieira means that Mikel Arteta wants to intensify Arsenal’s level of attacking football next season. The Portugal player was one of the best midfielders in the Portuguese League last season and he’s set to continue his wonders in the English Premier League.
